What's the position?

We are seeking a Sr. Project Manager to join our team and lead the execution of AI-powered initiatives, data engineering projects, and data science solutions that enhance our customer experience. The role involves managing complex technical project lifecycles from conception to deployment, coordinating with Data Engineers, AI Engineers, and Data Scientists to deliver solutions on time and within budget, and ensuring successful implementation of data-driven features and products.

The successful candidate will work closely with Data Engineers, AI Engineers, and Data Scientists to plan, execute, and deliver projects that create competitive advantages and improve customer outcomes. This includes overseeing data pipeline development, analytics platform implementations, machine learning model deployments, and data infrastructure initiatives. This position requires strong project management skills, technical understanding of AI systems and data architecture, and the ability to navigate complex technical projects while maintaining clear communication with technical teams.

AI-Powered Project Management:

• Experience leveraging AI tools and automation to streamline project management processes

• Ability to use AI for requirements tracking, scope monitoring, timeline optimization, and budget control

Executive Communication & Reporting:

• Skills in stakeholder communication across different organizational levels and departments

Project Management & Leadership:

• Experience in project management with a focus on AI/ML, data engineering, or data science projects

• Understanding of AI/ML project lifecycles, data engineering workflows, and analytics project delivery

• Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and tools

• Ability to create and manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for technical initiatives

Technical Coordination:

• Skill in coordinating technical teams including Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and AI Engineers

• Experience with risk management and issue resolution in complex technical projects

• Knowledge of AI development processes, data pipeline architectures, testing methodologies, and deployment strategies

• Understanding of data governance, model validation, data quality frameworks, and compliance requirements

Data & Analytics Expertise:

• Experience managing data engineering projects including ETL/ELT pipeline development and data warehouse implementations

• Knowledge of data science project lifecycles from exploratory data analysis to production model deployment

• Understanding of business intelligence and analytics platform implementations

• Familiarity with data infrastructure, cloud data services, and modern data stack technologies

Operational Excellence:

• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple AI, data engineering, and analytics projects simultaneously

• Ability to track project progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions across technical workstreams

• Communication skills to facilitate meetings, report status, and manage stakeholder expectations for technical projects

• Experience with change management and ensuring successful adoption of data-driven solutions

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field

• 3+ years of project management experience with at least 1 year focused on AI/ML, data engineering, or data science projects

• Proficiency in project management tools (Jira, Confluence, Monday.com) and agile methodologies

• Experience with AI-powered project management automation and workflow optimization

• Understanding of machine learning concepts, data pipelines, and data system architecture

• Strong documentation and reporting skills for project tracking, executive communication, and stakeholder presentations

• Ability to create KPI dashboards, executive summaries, and present results to company leadership

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Project Management, Business Administration (MBA), Data Science, or relevant technical field

• 5+ years of project management experience with significant focus on AI/ML, data engineering, or analytics initiatives

• Experience managing AI agents, automation platforms, conversational AI systems, and large-scale data infrastructure projects

• Knowledge of data governance frameworks, AI governance, and regulatory compliance for data and AI projects

• Experience in the gaming, sports betting, or entertainment industry

• Understanding of AI model monitoring, data quality monitoring, performance tracking, and continuous improvement processes

• Familiarity with DevOps practices, DataOps methodologies, and CI/CD pipelines for AI model and data pipeline deployment

• Experience with vendor management and third-party AI/data solution integration

• Experience with AI-driven project management tools and automation platforms for enhanced project governance

• Advanced skills in executive reporting, KPI development, and leadership presentation delivery

• Knowledge of AI applications in project management for requirements tracking and scope control

• Advanced project management certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Master, Agile Project Management)

• Track record of successfully delivering complex AI, data engineering, and analytics projects from prototype to production
