JOB SUMMARY:

The Electrical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, maintenance, and performance of all electrical systems within the facility. This includes the installation, repair, and preventative maintenance of wiring, fixtures, and related components to ensure safe and reliable operation. Additional responsibilities include supporting the setup, execution, and teardown of events at Empower Field at Mile High, collaborating with other trades on general maintenance tasks, and serving as the primary point of contact for the Electrical Shop. This includes coordinating with vendors and contractors to manage electrical work, ensure compliance with safety standards, and maintain project timelines.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintains and repairs all electrical equipment, components, wiring, and lighting systems at the stadium by:

· Monitoring operation of stadium electrical systems noting current status, identifying potential problems, and taking corrective action where appropriate.

· Repairing fire alarm system devises.

· Performing preventive maintenance of systems and equipment while seeking improved standard operating procedures.

· Determining root cause of equipment or system malfunctions and creating solutions for long term preventative maintenance as well as implementing corrective actions to resolve equipment/system problems in a timely manner.

· Operating forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, or other similar material

handling and maintenance equipment.

· Acting as stadium point of contact to all electrical vendors/contractors to ensure their compliance with building standards and quality of work

· Communicating any issues or concerns which may be present within stadium and site systems.

· Troubleshooting all electrical malfunctions and ensuring facility systems are operating properly according to performance specifications.

· Repairing, in conjunction with other engineering personnel if necessary, all inoperable electrical equipment and circuits

· Maintaining adequate spare parts and supplies and equipment and supply inventory records.

· Inspecting wiring and fixtures for conformance to company specifications or local electrical codes.

· Developing and following preventive maintenance schedule for all electrical machinery, equipment, and wiring.

· Assisting the facility and client event-related personnel during special events including event preparations and post-event needs as deemed necessary.

· Ensuring good operating condition of all lights, circuits, and machinery prior to event.

· Illuminating the stadium prior to event and shutting off all lights afterwards, bearing spectator’s safety and client needs in mind.

· Re-lamping the stadium as required.

· Conducting infrared scans of electrical and HVAC equipment.

· Making repairs where possible without obstructing spectator traffic.

· Interpreting company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.

· Analyzing and resolving work problems, or assisting workers in solving work problems.

· Performing new installations upon requests.

· Overseeing projects that are assigned.

· Set up for and work public and private events as assigned.

Completes administrative tasks of position by:

· Making recommendations and assisting with the preparation of the electrical department budget.

· Scheduling of requested lights for events.

· Manage electrical shop projects and assist with construction projects.

· Prioritizing electrical shop work to include repairs.

· Ordering parts or supplies needed for repairs or maintenance tasks within purchasing procedures.

· Utilizing computer-based CMMS software to document and track all work activities, time, and materials and ensure work orders and other required documentation is completed in a timely fashion.

· Manage and maintain lighting control systems.

· Making sure that all panel schedules are up to date.

· Approve weekly hours and time away requests for direct reports.

Contributes to the department’s team effort by:

· Assisting in other departmental needs and or stadium needs as assigned.

· Working flexible/long hours as may be necessary to accommodate work requirements, event schedules and respond to emergencies if necessary.

· Working all Denver Broncos home football games and public events as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).

• Journeyman license.

• 4 years of commercial electrical experience.

• 2 years of experience in commercial facility maintenance.

• 3 years of experience working within Stadium Management Company.

• Strong understanding of local codes and NEC Requirements.

• Strong understanding of lockout/tagout procedures and techniques.

• Strong understanding of PPE procedures, equipment, and techniques.

• Valid driver’s license.

• Ability to operate forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, or other similar material handling and maintenance equipment.

• Willing to work extended and/or irregular hours, including weekends and holidays when needed.

• Obtain a Master Electrician License within 6 months of hire.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Electrical Master license.

• Accredited post-secondary vocational or technical school diploma.

• Level 1 thermography certification.

• Basic knowledge of Fire Alarm systems, lighting control systems, and building automation.

• Strong general knowledge of facility management/engineering/construction.

• Strong technical skills with a focus on troubleshooting and repair.

• Strong work ethic, professionalism, interpersonal and customer service skills.

• Works well in a team setting with the ability to adapt to department needs and organizational goals.

• Self-motivated with excellent organization and planning abilities

• Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to maintain documentation.

• Ability to comprehend and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and one-line drawings.

• Ability to operate a computer with Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel.

In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary for this role is $92,500 - $108,300K. This position may require you to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings and holidays outside of a normal working hour as needed.
