Job Summary: The Denver Broncos Community Impact Rotational Intern will provide shared support across the Community Impact Department focus areas β€” Alumni Engagement, Community Impact/Foundation, and Community Programs & Events. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in all aspects of community engagement within a professional sports organization, rotating through each department during its peak season. The intern will assist with event operations, administrative projects, alumni engagement logistics, and community programming initiatives to advance the Denver Broncos’ mission.

Duration: This is a seasonal internship running July 2026 through February 2027 (exact start date to be determined).

Duties & Responsibilities

Assist Denver Broncos Foundation and Community Impact / Foundation:

  • Assist with year-end close-out, budget planning, and grant cycle preparation
  • Maintain information, tracking and reporting of Foundation and team philanthropic efforts in grants management system
  • Support research projects and assist with annual Impact Report
  • Help manage community impact inbox communications and nonprofit inquiries
  • Contribute to data tracking and reporting to measure program success

Assist with Denver Broncos Foundation Program & Events:

  • Support coordination and implementation of the Denver Broncos Foundation’s programming and events
  • Support Broncos Family Network programming and events
  • Assist with the execution of Denver Broncos Foundation gameday operations and activations throughout the season
  • Plan and execute events/special group visits during Denver Broncos Training Camp
  • Support logistics for and attend off-site community player appearances
  • Plan and execute select holiday programs aimed to serve youth in the community
  • Research projects as needed to support department initiatives and growth

Assist with Denver Broncos Alumni Engagement events and initiatives:

  • Assist with all logistics for Denver Broncos annual Alumni Weekend, including registration, credentials, and travel coordination
  • Support alumni appearance requests and communications
  • Assist with game day activations and alumni relations initiatives
  • Provide administrative support during peak engagement periods

Contributes to the team effort by performing other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • Cover letter, resume and references
  • Must be currently enrolled in a four-year college or university or have completed a bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
  • 3 months – 1 year of relevant experience/training
  • Ability to work all Broncos home games, nights/weekends, and keep a flexible schedule

Preferred Skills & Ability 

  • Non-profit, fundraising, and/or community service experience preferred
  • Sports industry and/or team experience (Pro, College, full-time, part-time) preferred
  • Event planning and logistics experience preferred
  • Must be able to handle confidential, privileged, and/or sensitive information carefully and with sensitivity
  • Customer service experience in a professional setting
  • Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and capacity to thrive in pressure situations
  • Self-starter who can work independently when given a task and have the focus to follow through follow up if problems arise
  • Strong writing and computer skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel as well as large groups
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected salary for this position is $19.29/hour.
