ο»ΏThe Roleο»Ώ

We're looking for a Data Team Lead to serve as the strategic data partner for the entire MM+ B2B portfolio. This is a high-ownership role that combines people leadership with deep commercial and technical accountability. You'll manage and develop a team of analysts while acting as the principal data voice across the business β€” partnering closely with Business, Finance, Product, and Technology to shape priorities, drive decisions, and ensure the data infrastructure underpinning MM+'s publisher ecosystem is trusted, scalable, and always-on.You will own complex data infrastructure, drive analytical workstreams, and be the person the business turns to when the hard data questions need answering.


ο»ΏLocation & work model: This is a hybrid role based in our London office.

ο»ΏWhat You'll Do

Strategic Business Partnership:

  • Serve as the primary data partner to the Head of B2B and senior stakeholders across Technology, Product, and Finance β€” shaping prioritisation and business strategy with data-driven insight
  • Represent the data function in business planning, quarterly reviews, and cross-functional initiatives
  • Own the data that external publishers access through the Voltax platform β€” ensuring they receive clean, accurate, and timely data they can trust to run their business
  • Translate product and commercial changes β€” new deal structures, new publisher onboarding, updated revenue share models β€” into reliable data logic and downstream reporting
  • Act as the embedded data partner for Product and Engineering, ensuring new features, integrations, and publisher deals are reflected accurately and promptly in the data stack
  • Go beyond reporting β€” design and build data products that actively help the business make better decisions, faster. Partner with the B2B and Account Management teams to identify where data can proactively surface opportunities or risks β€” and then build the tools that make those insights accessible and actionable in day-to-day operations.


Team Leadership & Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of data analysts, fostering a high-performance culture built on ownership, curiosity, and craft
  • Set clear team priorities aligned to business impact, balancing urgent delivery with long-term capability building
  • Set the vision for how the team moves from reactive reporting to proactive insight delivery, and lead its execution


ο»ΏData Infrastructure & Governance

  • Own the MM+ Single Source of Truth (SSOT) pipeline β€” the core infrastructure powering publisher reporting, external dashboards, and finance billing
  • Oversee complex SQL development and ETL pipeline management, ensuring production-grade reliability, integrity, and observability across the B2B data stack
  • Lead the team's adoption of AI agents and LLM-powered workflows β€” from automated monitoring to accelerating analysis β€” and set the vision for how AI augments the team's capabilities

Must-Have

  • 6+ years in data/analytics, with a track record of operating at a senior level
  • +2 years of proven experience managing or mentoring a team of data analysts
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills β€” a natural relationship builder who can engage, influence, and partner effectively with senior business leadersΒ 
  • Demonstrated experience building data products that drive business decisions β€” dashboards, alerting tools, self-serve analytics, or similar β€” not just reporting outputs
  • Demonstrated experience owning financial or commercial data reporting in a business-facing capacity
  • Strong hands-on SQL skills and experience owning ETL pipelines in a production environment
  • Experience working as an embedded data partner across business, product, and technology functions
  • Demonstrated ability to drive prioritization and strategic alignment across data and business teams
  • Familiarity with AI tooling, agents, or LLM-powered workflows β€” and a genuine enthusiasm for applying them
  • Valid UK work authorization β€” candidates must already hold the right to work in the UK. Minute Media does not provide visa sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Based in London β€” this is a hybrid role requiring regular in-person presence at our London office.


ο»ΏStrongly Preferred

  • Background in ad-tech, programmatic advertising, publisher monetization, or a B2B business
  • Experience owning or contributing to external-facing data products β€” publisher dashboards, self-serve reporting portals, or similar
